More than six thousand tons of smoked goods will be consumed in the festive period
More than 6 thousand tons of smoked goods will be consumed in the Easter holiday period, in a value of around 7 billion HUF – Mostisch Martina, Executive Secretary of the the Hungarian Meat Industry Association told MTI.
In this product range, the consumption is about 3.1 kg during the Easter holidays in about 2 million households. 25-30 percent of the ham sales occur during the Easter Festive Period – she added.
Mostisch Martina also told that the presence of the black economy in this segment is around 20-30 percent, the main areas of black economy are the markets. (MTI)
