More than 45,000 children benefited from Kifli.hu’s free fruit distribution initiative
Celebrating its fourth anniversary, Kifli.hu delivered fresh fruit and vegetables to more than 45,000 children in more than 400 kindergartens at its own expense, thus having a significant impact on educational communities. This initiative is part of a larger commitment to promoting healthy eating and access to quality food – with the aim of instilling the importance of healthy eating habits in children from a very young age.
At the press conference celebrating the fourth year of the company’s operation, Gabriel Makki, the managing director of Kifli.hu, presented the ambitious plan: between January 15 and 19, kindergartens operating in Kifli.hu’s delivery area could apply for free fruit and vegetable supplies. The campaign caused an overwhelming response, more than a hundred kindergartens contacted the customer service every day.
The initiative provided children with fresh produce, including apples, clementines, baby carrots and plum tomatoes. During the promotion, the couriers delivered more than 17 tons of apples and nearly 8 tons of clementines. The enthusiastic reception and gratitude expressed through letters of thanks, photos and children’s drawings supported the success of the campaign and the recognition of the community.
