Last year, AutoWallis’ vehicle sales increased by more than 40 percent, a record
Last year, the AutoWallis Group sold 44,909 vehicles in the first three quarters of the year, which is a 43.5 percent increase compared to 2022, the company informed MTI on Monday.
According to the announcement, the listed company broke records in all its business lines. In the wholesale business, sales increased by 57.6 percent to 34,943 units. 7,743 of the increase is due to the acquisition of Renault Hungária, without the acquisition the increase was 22.7 percent.
The company’s retail business sold 7,907 new and 2,059 used vehicles, which is an increase of 8.1 and 13.4 percent compared to 2022, respectively. Last year, the number of passenger cars put into circulation fell by 2 percent, they noted.
The number of service hours increased by 9.7 percent to 179,809, and in short-term car rental, Sixt, represented by AutoWallis in Hungary, increased the number of rental events by 5.4 percent.
