The number of foreign tourists grew in Romania
In the first seven months of this year, the number of foreign tourists grew by 4.3 percent to 1,591 million in Romania, compared to the same period of last year – according to Romanian National Institute of Statistics.
A total of 6.858 million tourists visited the commercial accommodation, which is a 3.8 percent increase over the first seven months of last year. The number of domestic tourists increased by 3.6 percent to 5.267 million in the period under review.
Domestic and foreign tourists spent 14,618 million guest nights which is a 2.6 percent increase. (MTI)
