Tesco launches school year with more than 4 million products and an extra day off
With more than 3 million notebooks, 100,000 bags and pen holders, as well as nearly 1 million stationery, Tesco is waiting for customers to start school in the fall.
The selection includes school supplies depicting the characters of popular films as well as the store chain’s own brand, colorful, designer products. Tesco also makes this period easier for the families of its employees by providing financial support to those raising school-aged children, and an extra day off for parents of first-grade children for the first day of school.
With less than a month left until the school bell starts on September 1, Tesco is preparing for this year with more than double the normal stock. This means a total of 4.1 million school supplies, including notebooks, bags, pen holders and stationery. Among the most popular are products decorated with heroes from Marvel, Disney, Harry Potter and Jurassic World. While the favorite of high school and high school students may be the Tesco Fashion own-brand product line with its bright colors and design elements. Hostesses will once again help less-routine customers find their way among the many options this year, and they can be found in 46 stores across the country from the second half of August.
