NAV found more than HUF 30 million worth of fake perfume in the capital
The financial inspectors found more than HUF 30 million worth of fake perfume in Budapest VIII. district, during the inspection of the Ganz plant – the National Tax and Customs Office (NAV) informed MTI on Thursday.
It was written that when the financial inspectors inspected the site in March, they noticed a “worn shipping container” emitting a perfume smell, which even the owners of the shops in the area could not tell who it belonged to. 1,749 bottles of different brands of perfume were found in the open storage.
The representatives of the trademark holders also examined the “scented set” and found that all of them are fakes designed to deceive customers, the customs office announced.
