Seven Spar stores modernised from more than 3 billion forints
Spar has modernised four supermarkets in Újpest, Salgótarján, Makó and Cegléd, spending HUF 467 million, 652 million, 445 million and 244 million on them, respectively. Another three Spar supermarkets – in Szántód, Szolnok and Harkány – reopened after modernisation in November. The retail chain spent HUF 603 million on the Szántód store, HUF 428 million on the shop in Szolnok and HUF 244 million on the Spar in Harkány. Head of communications Márk Maczelka told that the revamped stores now utilise eco-friendly lighting and cooling technology. //
