More than 280 tonnes of long-lasting foods were collected for the Food Bank’s invitation

Hungarian Food Bank Association organized its traditional Christmas fundraising campaign during the weekend, in more than 120 settlements and 200 locations. Thanks to the offerings, more than 280 tons of durable foods were collected.

With the help of about 5,000 volunteers, the Hungarian Food Bank Association will compile nearly 57,000 food packages that will be delivered to the people who are not in the vicinity of the collection even before Christmas – the organization told MTI. (MTI)
