Accommodation in the Czech Republic received more than 22 million guests last year
A record number of more than 22 million guests stayed last year in hotels, boarding houses and camping sites in the Czech Republic, 3.5 percent more than in 2018 – the Czech Statistical Office (CSU) announced in Prague on Friday.
The number of tourists in commercial accommodation has been increasing for the seventh year. Last year, the number of overnight stays was more than 57 million, a new record. One person spent an average of 2.6 nights at commercial accommodations, down from 2.8 in 2014. (Kokes János, MTI)
