The sales revenue of the hundred most profitable iron companies increased by more than 18 percent in 2022
In 2022, the net sales of the hundred most successful businesses in Vas County exceeded HUF 1,882.712 billion, which is 18.7 percent more than in the previous year, reads the TOP 100 Vas County publication presented in Szombathely on Monday.
Almost two-thirds of the turnover of the 100 largest farmers in Vas county, HUF 1,233.157 billion, came from exports, where the growth rate was 16.1 percent; at the same time, domestic sales, representing a third of the weight, increased by 23.9 percent.
According to the report based on the data of the National Tax and Customs Administration (NAV), Schaeffler Savaria Kft., which produces components for road vehicles and vehicle engines, retained the first place on the podium, which achieved a net sales revenue of 333.944 billion forints in 2022 after 274.715 billion forints the previous year. This company is also the county’s largest exporter and largest employer.
This year, BPW Hungary Kft., which is also involved in the production of parts for road vehicles and vehicle engines, took second place on the list with sales of HUF 138.060 billion, increasing by 23.4 percent the net sales of HUF 111.924 billion achieved in the previous year.
