The revenue of IKEA Magyarország increased by more than 17 percent
The revenue of IKEA Magyarország increased by more than 17 percent in the financial year lasted until August 2014, compared to the previous financial year – the furniture store chain informed MTI on Thursday.
According to the communication, the sales revenue of IKEA Magyarország was 41 billion HUF, after the previous financial year’s 35 billion HUF.
In the Communication, Marek Feltl, executive director of the IKEA Czech Republic, Hungary and Slovakia region explains: The number of purchasers of the department store increased by 7 percent, while the basket value increased by 10 percent per purchase. He added that these results demonstrate that when the economic environment stabilizes, people prefer to spend on interior design. (MTI)
