More than 1,200,000 food packages were saved for the needy

Food waste is still a huge problem in the world and in Hungary. It has a huge impact on our society and our environment as well.

In Hungary, the Food Bank carries out a unique activity to reduce the amount of food surpluses produced and to deliver foods that can still be eaten to those who have nothing on the table. The amount of food surplus collected by the Association is steadily growing year after year.
