The peak after the pandemic has ended, more than 1 million passengers were served at Liszt Ferenc International Airport in May, Budapest Airport told MTI on Tuesday.

Liszt Ferenc Airport received more than one million passengers in May
Monthly passenger traffic has an increase of 1,130 percent, compared to the same period in 2021, an 84 percent increase in 84,000 tons of air cargo handled in the first 5 months of this year. Freight traffic in May exceeded 15 million tons. Most of the passengers traveled to London, Paris, Tel Aviv, Amsterdam, Frankfurt, but Barcelona and Munich were also extremely popular destinations, they wrote. (MTI)
