The Hungarian animal feed insect protein production company received an investment of several million euros
Agroloop has yet another successful capital raising: it has signed a multi-million euro capital investment contract with Enter Tomorrow Venture Capital represented by Kék Bolygó Tőkealap and Lead Ventures Fund Management.
The fresh funding will be used to expand Agroloop’s black soldier fly larval breeding and processing activities in their factory hall located in the border of Üllő, Pest County. The investment promotes the increase of the company’s production capacity, as well as technological development, thanks to which the company can contribute even more to the development of the domestic circular economy. Earlier, Eprolius Hungary Zrt. and Gran Private Equity, the leading Hungarian venture capital company, also supported the start-up of the company with a significant investment.
Agroloop’s black soldier fly breeding activity is an innovative solution for reducing the environmental impact of animal feed raw material production and improving soil health. The company uses feed-grade by-products from local food processors to feed the larvae, which transform the low-value biomass into high-quality feed protein and fat.
