More cherries have grown this year at the largest producer of Békés county
The Hunapfel Kft., which is the largest producer of Békés county produced one thousand tons of cherries, hundred tons more than in 2015 – the Managing Director of the company told MTI on Thursday.
Pusztai József explained: cherries are grown on 100 hectares near Csorvás. Rain missed the area this year, so the crops are not cracked, and frost damages have not occurred as well, so the yield became higher than last year. The cherry harvest is expected to be completed by the end of next week. (MTI)
