Tesco trains and retrains thousands of people a year
Last year more than 3,400 workers were trained or retrained at the Tesco Academy – the retail chain announced in a press release on 24 January. The biggest part of course participants were Tesco employees, their share was about 30 percent. For them the courses are free and can be attended in working hours. Last year the company spent nearly HUF 200 million on training and education, doubling the number of secondary school students trained to exceed 900.
