NAV found thousands of boxes of untaxed cigarettes in a house in Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén county
The tax inspectors found several thousand boxes of untaxed cigarettes in a house in the county of Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén, the National Tax and Customs Administration (NAV) told MTI on Monday.
They wrote that the tax inspectors noticed men doing business on the street, exchanging money and cigarettes. The buyer admitted that he had bought 10 packs of cigarettes without a Hungarian seal from the seller.
According to the information, the tax inspectors escorted a “cigarette dealer” to the country, who denied that he had excise goods in his home.
