Emerging countries may overtake several major European economies
The United States remains the world's largest economy in the foreseeable future, but the largest emerging countries may overtake the European leading economic powers – predicted financial analyst in London on Monday.
One of the most prestigious London-based economic analyst house, the Centre for Economics and Business Research (CEBR) on Monday described that in the annual global rankings Brazil has overtaken Britain this year on the basis of the gross domestic product (GDP) thus becoming the world's sixth largest economy after the United States, China, Japan, Germany and France – reports MTI.
