More and more Czech tourists visit Hungary

The Czechs have increased their interest towards tourist trips to Hungary – the Czech Tourism Agencies Association (ACCK) states in its analysis on the summer tourist season published on Tuesday.

The ACCK states that for this year's summer season, the Czech tourist offices sold about 800 thousand trips, which is a 5 percent increase, compared to last year's summer season. The value of the transactions increased by 7 percent year on year, mainly due to higher prices.
According to the ACCK by considering the cheaper trips,. the Czechs tourist have increased their interests towards tourist trips to Hungary. For the Czechs, Hungary is relatively cheap, yet the thermal baths in Hungary are highly popular, and increased interest occured towards the Lake Balaton as well. (Kokes János, MTI)
