The new Czech Minister of Agriculture wants more Czech foods in the stores
According to Marian Jurecka, new Czech Minister of Agriculture, they would make it mandatory for the foreign international chains to sell more Czech origin food products.
Currently there is no legal requirement towards the stores to sell domestically produced foods in the Czech Republic. According to Marian Jurecka, the law shall be made with great care to not conflict with the EU law. “If our rule will be contrary to EU legislation we will introduce it” – he added.
