This year the winegrowers expect more wine and excellent vintage
The Hungarian winemakers expect grape harvest and winemaking exceeding the quality and the quantity of the average of the last five years, thanks to the favorable weather conditions – the secretary general of the National Council of Wine Communities informed MTI on Wednesday.
Brazsil Dávid told at the Keszthely wine festival that last year almost 2.8 million hectoliters of wine was produced by the domestic wineries. If he weather continues to be favorable, it is expected that this year 5-10 percent more ie more than 3 million hectoliters of wine may be produced. (MTI)
