Trade Marketing Club special award: Maspex Olympos, Apenta Drink for a million Forints or for a holiday every week!
The main goal of Apenta’s 2009 campaign was to make more people try the renewed product range, with its modern bottle shape and a more expressive label design. A prize game was part of the complex campaign and consumers sent in more than 100,000 envelopes; each week 30 inflatable beach chairs and holidays for 4 persons in Siófok were drawn. The main prize was HUF 1 million. Prizes really attracted shoppers as a very high proportion, 7.4-percent of buyers sent in the envelope. Apenta sales managed to grow on the moderately shrinking soft drink market. Sales during the promotion campaign exceeded the last 12 months’ average by 25 percent. According to Maspex’s evaluation system, this was their most successful promotion.
