Ten million kilograms of food donated
Last year the Hungarian Food Bank Association saved 10 million kilograms of food from stores and manufacturers, donating it to people in need.

The HUF 15bn worth of aid was delivered to poor people largely through volunteer work and a food rescue network consisting of 500 charities. In total 239,000 people were helped in 2023, most of them on a weekly basis or even more frequently. //
