Ten-month highs in the British economy’s final activity indicators, released on Tuesday, reached a ten-month high, indicating that the Russia-Ukraine war had not yet slowed down the performance of Europe’s largest non-EU economy by the end of the first quarter. However, the mood in the business sector has deteriorated markedly over the past month.
