Billa to open 10 new stores in Bulgaria

The supermarket chain of German Rewe is present in Bulgaria since 2000, nowadays it has 29 units.

 Billa Bulgaria intends to open eight to ten more stores by the end of 2008, in different cities of the country, with minimum 30,000 citizens. According to the company’s development concept the medium-term plan is to operate 75 stores. The Bulgar market is fragmented, the 5 market leaders have no more than 10 pct. markets hare.
