Fifteen Million HUF for a bottle of Scotch whiskey
A bottle of 57 years old Scotch whiskey was sold for forty-four thousand pounds (more than 15 million HUF) at an auction in London.
The Glenfiddich branded beverage was entered the auction in honour of Scotland's oldest member the 110 years old Janet Roberts Sheet, who is the granddaughter of William Grant, founder of the Glenfiddich distillery. An unknown telephone bidder finally was able to bring home the expensive drink for forty-four thousand pounds – reports forty-four thousand pounds penzcentrum.hu, after The Daily Telegraph.
