Fourteen percent fewer companies give cafeteria
This year, more than 14 percent less companies are giving fringe benefits to their employees, than last year – shows the results of the representative survey ordered by the OTP Pénztárszolgáltató.
The decline is mainly due to the scarcity of financial limits. The fringe benefits amount per employee decreased with an average of seven percent, from 177,714 HUF to 166,000 HUF.
The representative results show that the fringe benefits market declined. While in 2011, 87.3 percent of the companies provided some kind of discount-taxed cafeteria items, in 2012 this figure dropped back to 75.1 percent. (Világgazdaság Online – Vég Márton)
