One shopping center for nineteen thousand Pécs inhabitants
Among the five big cities of Hungary (Debrecen, Győr, Miskolc, Pécs and Szeged), the highest number of shopping centers are in Pécs, the least in Debrecen, Miskolc, and (yet) in Szeged.
In Debrecen – if the surroundings districts are not counted – nearly 41 thousand inhabitants has a mall. In Miskolc and in Szeged 170 thousand inhabitants have 4 malls. The hypothetical list is led by Pécs with 8 shopping centers for 156 thousand inhabitants. Second is Győr with 5 malls for 130 thousand citizens, which is one shopping center for 26 thousand inhabitants – reports Pénzcentrum.hu.
