The passenger traffic of the Liszt Ferenc International Airport in Budapest grew by 17 percent in the first half of the year, compared to the same period of last year – according to the statistics of the CAPA Air Traffic Advisor.
According to the data, a 13 percent increase was recorded in June, which was the fifty-fifth consecutive month when the total number of starts and arrivals increased. In the first month of the summer, 1.4 million passengers and 20.4 percent more ie 12.7 thousand tons of goods were handled last year, and the number of landings exceeded 10,000 which is 11.2 percent improvement, compared to June 2017.
