Thirteen thousand children received a gift package from the Food Bank

Thirteen thousand needy children received a gift package during the holidays at the charity program of the Hungarian Food Bank Association – the organizers told MTI.

According to the announcement, the association is running its tender process for the second year, which will provide food donations to children in need during special periods – children’s day, summer camps, Christmas. In December 2019, with the support of Bonduelle Central Europe Kft., 12.821 children in need had access to the Food Bank program, consisting mainly of sweets. The total value of the packages was close to 33 million HUF. (MTI)
