Inflation accelerated to a thirteen-year high in the euro area
Inflation in the euro area accelerated to a thirteen-year high in September due to rising energy prices.
According to the final data released on Wednesday by the Statistical Office of the European Union (Eurostat), consumer prices in the eurozone, which comprises 19 EU countries, rose by 3.4 percent year-on-year. (MTI)
