Eleven thousand tons of food was sent to the needy

Last year, the Food Bank (Élelmiszerbank) saved 11,000 tons of food from destruction.

This means that, on average: Instead of the destruction over 30 tonnes food a day, the association helped the nutrition of needy people whom it is impossible or very challenging to gain food every day.
