Nine out of ten Hungarian listen to the radio
According to the radio survey of GfK-Ipsos; 88.6 percent of the Hungarian population older than 15, a total of 7.548 million person listened the radio in July 2010.
The average daily radio listening time is four hours, during which time the listeners were listening their favorite radio station.
The highest number of listeners used to connect in the morning hours, from 6 am to 10 am – which is more than thirty percent (31.6%) of the total listening time. Radio listening reaches its peak at 9 o'clock when the 25.8 percent of the population, older than 15 years had been involved in the programs.
