Milk sector’s revenue increased by ten percent
The revenue of the milk sector increased by about ten percent last year, compared to the datas of a year earlier, reaching 200 billion HUF- told Lukács László, Executive Director of the Milk Marketing Board Interprofessional Organization to MTI.
The Executive announced that the revenue increase was mainly due to the high price level of raw milk. On average its was between 92 to 94 forints per liter last year. The rising price trend began in 2010, and continued throughout last year and even early this year, but in recent weeks it has been broken, and a downward trend can be the experienced on the market.
