Ten percent fewer guest nights in Romania
In the first quarter of 2010, the number of guest nights spent in commercial accommodations decreased by ten percent in Romania – reported the Romanian Statistical Office.
According to the statement of the Romanian Statistical Office; in the January-March period, the number of guest reached 2.05 million, which is a 10.2 percent decrease, compared to the similar period of last year. The number of registered arrivals at the commercial accommodations also decreased. A total of 993,100 tourists recorded, which is 6.7 percent decline compared to the previous year – reports MTI.
