Food prices may increase by ten percent
The Agricultural Economics Research Institute (AKI) expect a smaller, about 10 percent food price increase in the next six months – MTI writes. This announcement may easen the already tense relations in the agricultural markets, as many experts have predicted dramatic price increases earlier.
According to the Institute's latest survey, the price of basic food products will increase differently but a total of about 10 percent increase is expected.
According to the market developments and harvest datas of the last few weeks, food price boom is not expected but rather a smaller, multiple-step increase in food prices. (portfolio.hu)
