Consumer confidence is on its ten-month nadir in China
In April consumer sentiment decreases for the second month, which can be associated with the government measures taken against economic overheating.
China's consumer confidence index decreased by 1.3 points to 96.8 points in April, which is the lowest data since August 2009. A month before, the confidence index decreased by 4.9 points. The index measuring consumers' willingness to purchase decreased by 1.8 points in April, after the 6.1 point decline of March – reports ProfitLine.hu., after Hyperlink Research.
