PC sales grew the most in the world last year
According to data posted on the website of the IT and telecommunications market research company International Data Corporation (IDC); in the United States, worldwide sales of personal computers increased by 13.1 percent to 302 million 605 thousand. The most significant increase was last recorded in 2010, when the expansion was 13.7 percent. One of the company’s executives said their surveys say demand for PCs will continue to grow this year.
