The National Public Health Service (ÁNTSZ) draws attention to a dietary supplement with forbidden ingredients
Among the ingerients of the product that is promising quick weight loss, the hoodia gordonii plant component can be found that can be considered as a new food product in the European Union. In the absence of community level authorization it endangers the health of consumers and can not be marketed.
According to the communication sent to MTI the distributor of the dietary supplement has announced the product to the National Food and Nutrition Institute (OÉTI), but during the examination of the documentation it was revealed that one of the ingredients should not be used in the European Union.
