Tihany legend – 820 million HUF development can be realized

The local government has been cherished “Tihany Legend” tourism development project for years now. The project become a reality with a 600 million HUF EU support.

The project aims to develop the most visited sites. The first step would be the renovation of the surroundings of the historic Abbey of Tihany. A new main square will be developed with the demolition of inappropriate buildings, where tourism and cultural services, programs can find a home.
From the 820 million HUF total budget of the project, the town is willing to provide 220 million HUF. The necessary additional 600 million HUF hopefully came from the fundings of the Central Transdanubia Operational Program (KDOP) – reports MTI-Eco.
