Thomas Cook Bankruptcy: more than a thousand flights are needed to carry British passengers home
According to the British transport minister, 150,000 British passengers of the the bankrupt Thomas Cook travel agency will have to transport from 50 countries and more than a thousand chartered flights in the next two weeks will be needed as well.
Grant Shapps, who informs about the consequences of the largest and oldest British tour operator’s bankruptcy on Monday, said that more than 30,000 British passengers have returned home on free flights organized by the British Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) in the past two days.
