Pasta bridges with Loctite adhesive

The competition of pasta bridges has several decades of past in the domestic and  international engineering training institutions. The Pasta Bridge Building World Championship was held on May 25 at the University of Óbuda under the name RECCS.

The building of a pasta bridge seems a relatively simple task, however, the construction  of a strong and beautiful bridge needs serious engineering knowledge. To bulid an award-winning, high capacity pasta bridge not only the skills of the contestants, but the effectiveness of the glue is essential.

Most teams used the Loctite 3430 epoxy adhesive for the cosntruction of pasta bridges and the supporting structures. The Loctite 3430 epoxy adhesive hardens in five minutes, completely dry to transparent, so it is the proper choice for the aesthetic and structural fixing of pastas.
