Tesco fights against breast cancer together with its customers
Almost eight thousand new patients are diagnosed with breast cancer every year in Hungary. Tesco joins again to the GoPink! international campaign in October to raise awareness of breast cancer prevention. By purchasing the products in the action, customers in the supermarket chain can also support the work of the Debrecen Oncology Patients Foundation.
The mammary tumor, which is recognized in time, can be cured, so special attention should be paid to prevention. “Even with the smallest act we can do wonderful things, therefore we have joined the GoPink initiative this year. In cooperation with our customers, we want to emphasize the importance of attention and the fight against the disease” – Hevesi Nóra, Tesco’s Communications Director told.
