Tesco: Another salary development
Tesco today announced the third installment of this year’s wage growth: the salary of almost every full-time, active store and logistics employee will be raised by at least another gross 11,000 HUF, so they can bring home close to two-month payments more this year.
Together with the announced increase, the Tesco has spent 8.7 billion HUF on wage growth over the past two years. From September 1, none of the full-time workers will earn less than 176 thousand forints, and the salary of most Tesco employees has increased by 18.9 percent this year, reflecting on Hungarian wage inflation as well.
