Tesco: women earn the same as men
At Tesco, every employee is treated equally, so there is no difference in average wages of men and women. According to a recently released survey; in Hungary the gap between the wages of men and women is significant.
Tesco employs nearly 22,000 employees in Hungary. With every new store opening, the company eastablishes an average of 100 to 300 new jobs. The gender ratio of the active workers is: 65 percent women and 35 percent men.
The company has developed the non-discriminatory employment. Genders do not play a role in the payments – reports tozsdeforum.hu.
