Tesco: it is good to help others!

More than 162 tons of food donations, enough to prepare 405 000 doses of food was gathered by the customers of Tesco within the Christmas fundraising campaign of the Hungarian Food Bank Association on the last weekend of November.

In addition to the customers, the chain has also contributed to the success of the action: Tesco complemented the support with 15 million HUF additional funding. With the help of the chain and its customers, the the Food Bank Association will transport 24 thousand food packages to people living in difficult situation just before Christmas.
