Tesco vs. Interspar
Tesco reckons unfounded and misleading Blikk's Interspar advert relaesed on 26 June, which classified Tesco unethical, which states that Tesco's comparison of prices was unethical.
Interspar alleged the slogan in the advert of the Tesco where Tesco compared Tesco's cheaper prices to Interspar's higher prices, on a certain date, among completely identical brands. As an end result of the price-comparison Tesco prices were 7-34 percent cheaper than the prices of Interspar. The Ethics Board found the overall price comparisons legal, ethical, permissible and accurate. The Pest County Court also found, Tesco's comparison legitimate, and rejected Interspar's action.
