Tesco Clubcard programme: a thank you for customer loyalty
The Tesco Clubcard loyalty programme was launched in the autumn of 2010: after buying something in a Tesco store shoppers receive points on their personal accounts, for which they get discounts, vouchers and coupons. Tesco Clubcard is a way of saying thank you to customers for their loyalty. Those who wish to participate only have to fill out a form and they receive their Clubcard and two keyrings at once – points are collected on the account belonging to these. Keyrings can substitute the card and members of the card holder’s family can also use them. Shoppers receive a point after every 200 forint spent and when points are used 1 point is worth 1 forint.
