Tesco, the recipient community
Since 2004, Tesco is consciously involved in the employment of disabled and handicapped people.
In 2010, the company launched a program known as the recipient community. As the result of the program, now more than 500 disabled and handicapped employees are working in the Tesco stores. Until the end of the year, the chain plans to employ nearly 1,000 disabled. In order to help their adoption and integration, the company is organizing sensitization trainings to the staff and the managers.
