Tesco: 171 stores, 47.5 million doses of donation
Tesco donates food surplus from 171 of its 204 stores in Hungary.
The company is offering daily vegetables, fruits, bakery and durable food that are no longer available for sale to the local partner organizations of the Hungarian Food Bank Association. Since the beginning of the program (2014), the supermarket chain has helped the needy with over 47.5 million doses of food.
